In addition to my private practice I have many years experience working as a counsellor and hypnotherapist with members of the legal profession, as well as with large UK companies and Government Bodies.
I studied Hypnotherapy at Regents College, London and Integrative Supervision at the Metanoia Institute in Ealing.
I worked for a few years for Herts Social Services with young people in care. In 1992 I completed my training in drug and alcohol counselling and worked one day a week for a drug and alcohol agency. This involved one to one work with clients, many of whom were poly-addictive. Another element of my work was to support parents of teenage or adult users. I also helped people to withdraw from prescription medication. As well as the counselling, I ran group relaxation sessions. For three years I served as a member of the Executive Management Committee for DrugCare St Albans.
