Be Slim & Healthy 
Why is it that so many of us are forever dieting, losing a few pounds, or more, then gaining it all back again? 
 
My theory is that because we deny ourselves food we enjoy, as soon as the deprivation of our diet is over we are desperate to eat “normal” food again. Frequently we are trapped in a never-ending cycle of self-imposed feast or famine.  
 
Be Slim and Healthy is about just that, being slim and healthy. You eat healthy, nourishing, tasty, delicious food in just the right quantity for your body’s needs, in other words, smaller portions! Simple and easy, you are not depriving yourself of delicious food, you are choosing to eat the right amount for your body’s needs.  
 
Your natural body is slim and your natural body weight is light. If your body has become fat and heavy it is because you have been eating too much and maybe too much of the wrong foods. 
 
You know how to eat healthily, now you can choose to eat light, clean, clear and healthy food and drinks. You know your body will welcome good, fresh, healthy foods. Your digestive system works much more comfortably when you eat the right foods.  
 
Your energy levels will increase, your body will benefit from simply eating less, just the right amount for your body. Your mood will improve as you become more energetic and your mind will benefit too. You will be so much more efficient in body and mind, so relationships improve - everything improves. 
 
Imagine your favourite slim celebrity, if you were in their shoes how would you maintain those slim and healthy looks. Now treat yourself as if you are that celebrity, and see yourself in a few months’ time looking fantastic!

Tips for being Slim and Healthy... 
 
Eat regularly – your body works to a rhythm. 
 
Breakfast – Lunch – Dinner. 
 
If you are better with lots of little meals, that’s fine, but make sure they are regularly spaced, small and healthy. 
 
Always sit down to eat. 
 
Think about the food you are eating – really savour each mouthful – enjoy the different flavours. 
 
Use a smaller plate and say “no” to second helpings. 
 
Never go food shopping on an empty stomach – you will buy food you really do not need! 
 
Exercise – go for a brisk walk for at least 20 minutes each day, go to the gym, join an exercise class, ride a bike or swim. As well as toning your body, exercise will tone your mind and you will feel really good. 
 
Really concentrate on having a picture of yourself in your mind – as you would like to look, slim and healthy. View this “new you” before every meal to reinforce your determination to be slim and healthy. 
 
Congratulate yourself at the end of each day on having achieved your goal of eating fresh, healthy, light, clean, clear foods, which help you towards your ideal lighter weight and slim body.
