Why is it that so many of us are forever dieting, losing a few pounds, or more, then gaining it all back again?
My theory is that because we deny ourselves food we enjoy, as soon as the deprivation of our diet is over we are desperate to eat “normal” food again. Frequently we are trapped in a never-ending cycle of self-imposed feast or famine.
